I’ve been working on a water simulation engine, named after Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. So far, the engine features both CPU and GPU implementations of Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and is capable of simulating 1M+ particles in real-time on my laptop 4060 GPU. I plan to implement a hybrid Langrangian-Eulerian approach in the future, and work on more realistic rendering.
